Privacy Policy

At Data Analyzer, your privacy and data security are our top priorities. This policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and delete your information when you use our AI-powered data analysis platform. We are committed to transparency and giving you full control over your research data.

Last updated December 2024

Data Analyzer collects minimal information necessary to provide our AI-powered data analysis services. This includes account registration details (email address, name), uploaded data files for analysis, and basic usage metadata to improve service performance.

When you upload files for analysis, we temporarily process them to generate your reports. We do not store your uploaded data files after analysis is complete - all files are automatically and permanently deleted once your analysis report is generated.

We collect technical information such as IP addresses, browser type, device information, and usage patterns to ensure platform security, prevent abuse, and improve user experience. This information is anonymized and aggregated for analytics purposes.

Your uploaded data files are used solely for the purpose of generating your requested analysis reports. We process your data through our AI analysis engine to provide quantitative analysis (statistics, correlations, regressions) and qualitative analysis (theme extraction, coding, pattern identification).

We never use your data to train AI models. Your research data, analysis results, and uploaded files are never shared with third parties, used for advertising, or sold to any organization. Your data remains completely private and confidential.

Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics help us improve Data Analyzer's features and performance. This includes metrics like analysis completion rates, feature adoption, and general platform usage patterns - all without identifying individual users or their data.

We may use your contact information to send important service updates, security notifications, and respond to support requests. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time.

Data Analyzer follows a strict zero-retention policy for uploaded files. Your uploaded data files (Excel, CSV, Word, PDF, etc.) are automatically and permanently deleted immediately after your analysis report is generated.

Analysis reports you generate are stored in your account workspace so you can access them later. You can delete any analysis report or your entire account at any time from your account settings.

Account deletion permanently removes all your analysis reports, account information, and associated data from our systems. Deleted data cannot be recovered.

We retain minimal account information (email, subscription status) for billing and legal compliance purposes, but this does not include any of your research data or analysis content.

You have full control over your data. You can download your analysis reports, delete individual reports, or delete your entire account at any time from the Settings panel in your workspace.

You can opt out of non-essential analytics and marketing communications through your account settings. Essential cookies required for platform functionality cannot be disabled as they are necessary for secure authentication and session management.

You have the right to request access to your personal information, request corrections to inaccurate data, and request deletion of your account and all associated data. Contact us at privacy@dataanalyzer.com for assistance with these requests.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or California, you have additional privacy rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA respectively. We fully comply with these regulations.

Data Analyzer implements enterprise-grade security measures to protect your data. All data transmission uses end-to-end encryption (HTTPS/TLS) to ensure your files and information are secure in transit.

All uploaded files are processed in encrypted, isolated environments. Our systems use tokenized access controls, meaning even our engineers cannot access your raw data files.

We perform regular security audits, penetration testing, and maintain SOC 2 Type II compliance controls. Our infrastructure is monitored 24/7 for security threats and anomalies.

We follow strict data minimization principles - we only collect and process the minimum amount of data necessary to provide our analysis services. We never collect more information than required.

Data Analyzer uses trusted third-party service providers for essential platform functions such as cloud hosting, payment processing, and email delivery. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and only process it as necessary to provide their services.

We do not share your research data or analysis content with third parties for advertising, marketing, or any other purposes. Any third-party access is limited to essential infrastructure services and is subject to strict confidentiality agreements.

Our payment processor handles billing information separately and securely. Data Analyzer does not store or have access to your full payment card details.

Data Analyzer is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at privacy@dataanalyzer.com and we will delete the information promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the 'Last Updated' date.

Continued use of Data Analyzer after policy changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your privacy.
